ADP is a non-profit organization working to enhance the vitality of the Downtown community for the benefit of greater Anchorage. We work to provide advocacy, leadership and support for Downtown Anchorage.
Use ADP as the place to go to for information about Downtown Anchorage! Call us, utilize our website, and attend our monthly meetings. Send us your current email address and we’ll add you to our email list and send you eblasts regarding upcoming events, issues, meetings and items of interest in Downtown Anchorage.
We invite the Downtown community to attend monthly community/ member meetings. We provide opportunities for information sharing, problem solving, marketing and more. Meetings topics focus on Downtown development projects, Downtown security and safety trends, and updates/presentations regarding special projects, events, marketing, etc.
We invite you to become a member of ADP! Membership perks include free ¼ page welcome ad (compliments of the Anchorage Press), discounted membership rates through The Alaska Club, sponsorship and marketing opportunities at special events, and member to member discounts among businesses.
- Eblast messages or faxes with information about current Downtown hot topics, issues, meetings and upcoming events.
- New members receive a ¼ page ad in the Anchorage Press and are acknowledged in our newsletter.
- Discount membership with The Alaska Club. ADP Members will have the enrollment fee waived AND receive 1 month free (pay 11 months instead of 12).
- Sponsorship and marketing opportunities at special events through ADP.
- Opportunities to network with other members concerning shared interests in the Downtown through monthly Membership Meetings and other ADP hosted meetings. Updates on Downtown Projects, Safety & Security Trends, and Special Events and Projects.
- Member to Member Discounts among Downtown businesses.
- ADP Summer Greeters marketing Downtown to tour buses and visitors at Greeting/Information Stations on 4th Avenue.
- During Month of March: 10% discount to ADP Members with ‘Total Reclaim Environmental Services’ providing Responsible Recycling and Destruction Services.
- Future: further develop ADP’s website to include a Membership Directory and links to local businesses. Our intent for the ADP website is to make it the “go-to” website for information on Downtown Anchorage.
ADP also hosts citywide community events Downtown. Music in the Park Summer Concert Series, Holiday Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve Celebration, and the Crystal Gallery of Ice are some of the events hosted by ADP. Our goal is to enhance the image of Downtown and increase foot traffic to businesses.
