Cory Evans

DIRECTOR OF Security

Cory was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Alaska since 1987. He is a 1991 graduate of Chugiak High School in Eagle River, Alaska. Cory attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage (UAA) for two years while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Prior to coming to work for ADP, Cory spent the last 12 years working as a Safety Security/Home School Coordinator for the Anchorage School District. During that time he also spent a lot of his spare time coaching football, basketball, Native Youth Olympics and track and field, at Bartlett, Chugiak and South Anchorage High Schools. He is very active in the local community with several professional organizations. He is an avid sportsman and enjoys the great Alaskan outdoors and spending quality time with his family. Cory has recently been named as Defensive Coordinator for the South High School Varsity Football program.

Darius Watkins

Security LEAD

Darius was born in Dallas Texas. He graduated from Longview High school in Texas. He then attended Kilgore Jr. College in Texas. Darius moved to Alaska in 2002 and shortly after took a job as one of our security ambassadors. A family emergency in 2005 caused him to move back to Texas. After a five year stint in Texas Darius has returned to the Ambassadors in 2011. Darius has maintained his EMT certification since 1995. Darius takes pride in his knowledge of martial arts. He has been involved in martial arts since the young age of nine; receiving his first black belt at the age of thirteen. Darius has tremendous work ethic and his knowledge has enhanced the security ambassador team.

Trevor Hooe

Security Ambassador Lead

Trevor is twenty-one years old and was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from high school, he received a soccer scholarship and attended Scottsdale University, in Scottsdale Arizona. Trevor returned to Alaska after 2 years in Scottsdale and is attending the University of Alaska, Anchorage and is majoring in Construction Management with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Nathan Springer

Security Ambassador

Nathan John Springer was born in Limon, Colorado. Nate lived in South Dakota for 16 years before moving to North Plain Nebraska. After 14 years in Nebraska he decided to move to Soldotna, Alaska were he drove truck for Ferguson Trucking. Nate has been living in Anchorage for the past year and has found his calling as a Security Ambassador. Nate is also currently attending school to obtain his personal trainer license.

Nathan Watkins

Security Ambassador

Nathanial Watkins was born in Quanha, Texas. Nate comes back to Anchorage Downtown Partnership, after returning home to Texas for 4 years to take care of family. Nate is a welcomed addition to the Ambassador team. Nate enjoys playing all sports but most of all Basketball. Nate spends most of his free time with his children. Nate prides him self on being a great father.
