Join us for our monthly membership meeting on Wednesday, March 5th at 9:00am to hear from the myriad state and municipal projects happening in downtown this summer.

Find out more about project schedules and timelines; learn about planned utility work and road closures; learn about what the Municipality has planned for wayfinding and getting around downtown during the construction season; and much more!

The meeting takes place at 9:00am on Wednesday, March 5th in the conference room at the Alaska State Trooper Museum, located at 245 West 5th Avenue Suite 300 (two doors down from the ADP offices.)

Total Reclaim Special Offer

Total Reclaim Inc. environmental services is offering discounted electronics recycling rates for ADP Members through the end of March!

Through this special offer, ADP Members can recycle all electronics for $.30 per pound, or refrigerators and freezers at $20 per unit.  For pick-up service, contact Total Reclaim at 561-0544 or schedule pick-up online through their website www.totalreclaim.com.  This offer is good through the end of March.

Take the First Lady’s Challenge!

Alaska Fiber Festival

The Alaska Fiber Festival is the largest semi-annual Fiber Extravaganza held in Alaska. It is a 9 day event filled with Workshops from world renowned textile artists, amazing International Fiber & Mixed Media Exhibits, exclusive Alaskan Challenges and Exhibits, and more!
                                                                                                                     
The kickoff event is a Downtown Quilt Walk on First Friday, March 7, 5:00pm – 9:00pm, beginning in the 5th Avenue Mall at the main entrance of the Mall by JCPenney.  (Free admission)  Treasured, vintage, historic & truly loved quilts displayed in the Downtown Stores starting March 5.  Participants can also pick up a passport, sign up for workshops, and get tickets for the fashion shows at the Quilt Walk starting point. 

Other events/classes include: Alaska Fiber Festival "Half-Baked Alaska" features a Fiber Art Show at Conoco Phillips Atrium, March 15 – 16, 10am – 5pm (Free admission)

An Evening in Ireland

The Irish Club of Alaska, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Alaskans with quality learning opportunities in Irish and Irish-American arts, language, music & literature, invites our Members to an evening of music and dancing!

An Evening in Ireland is guaranteed to put a little jig in your spring break with an evening of dinner, music and dancing on Saturday, March 8th at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel6:00pm is a no-host bar, with dinner starting at 7:00pm.  Tickets cost $50.00 and there will be silent AND live auctions to help benefit the Irish in Alaska Project.

Changes at ADP

As you may know, executive director Becky Beck recently resigned from Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd., and the Board of Directors is actively seeking a new executive director.
