ADP Annual Meeting -- Next Week!

As business and property owners in Downtown, you should have received your invitation to the Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. 2008 Annual Meeting in the mail already! But in case you haven't...

The ADP Annual Meeting - which is open to the public - will take place on Thursday, April 24 from 10:00am – 11:00am in the Chart Room at the Downtown Hilton Hotel.

ADP has prepared a special slideshow with generous input from UAA, the Anchorage Museum and many local photographers that will show many of the most familiar places and landmarks in Downtown from different times in our city’s past – where we’ve been and where we’re at now.  You’ll be surprised by some of the changes!

The featured guest at this year’s meeting is Mayor Mark Begich.  He will be speaking about the growth and development of Downtown Anchorage – where we’re at and where we’re going in the future!

Please join us at the Hilton for our 2008 Annual Member Meeting next week.

Don’t forget to vote for ADP Directors

As business and property owners in Downtown, you should have received your 2008 ballot for Directors.

If you would like to vote early, feel free to fill in your ballot and fax, mail or email your ballot to ADP.  The numbers and/or email addresses you need are on the bottom of the ballots.

You will also have the opportunity to vote for Directors at the 2008 Annual Member Meeting next week.  Stop on by!

Downtown Projects website

Some of you may remember two years ago when ADP launched the Destination Downtown website as a one-stop web repository for information about the myriad projects in Downtown.

Well, the site has been redesigned and updated, and will continue to be updated daily, sometimes even hourly, with new and important information regarding not just the projects, but the construction impacts of those projects on Downtown this summer.

Check the site often to learn more about road closures and other important information related to the upcoming summer construction season.

Also, you can sign up for twice monthly email updates at the site and even submit questions / concerns / updates via the online contact form.  The form goes directly to the Municipality and their contractors, and they will be checking the submissions daily.

So head on over and see what’s new at DestinationDowntown.info!
