AWAIC Summer Solstice Festival 2007

June 18, 2007 Written by: Chris

This is a summer festival held each June to benefit the Abused Women Aid in Crisis program. It takes place in Town Square and features live entertainment and many different craft & food booths selling unique, made-in-Alaska gifts, including the ever popular, brightly colored AWAIC T-shirts. It’s a great opportunity to have a great time and help a great cause.

The 2007 AWAIC Summer Solstice Festival was on the most beautiful day of the summer. The sun was out, the temperature was in the high 70s, and tons of people came downtown for the fun.
