Holiday Tree Lighting

November 20, 2009 Written by: Ruth

att-0580-tree-lighting-81The AT&T Holiday Tree Lighting in Town Square is November 27, 2009 starting at 5 p.m.

Santa will be there with live reindeer (this is Alaska after all so we have to use the real thing!)  Santa rides in with his reindeer and lights the tree.

After the ceremony Santa and his reindeer are available for pictures.

Salvation Army is providing hot cocoa and Furniture Classics provides cookies.  You won’t want to miss this magical event.

This family friendly event is FREE!

The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and the Egan Center are open for warming up so there is no excuse to miss out on the fun.

Bring the whole family or sneak off on your own to get your picture with Santa and enjoy this fun holiday tradition.
