The kids were swimming like salmon…

If you walked through Downtown last Monday, you probably caught a glimpse of kids swimming like salmon, stomping like bears and hopping like rabbits at Peratrovich Park.
The youngsters were there for the weekly Music for Little Ones event in Peratrovich Park, part of the Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. Summer in the City program. This event – held every Monday from 12noon – 1:00pm at Peratrovich Park – is a family-friendly event that has developed quite the loyal following. The event takes place on Mondays.
The event incorporates music, movement and play designed specifically for preschool aged children and their parents. The performers are Diane McIntyre and Rick Miller of Music a La Carte and The Right Connection.
Music for Little Ones takes place from June 12 though August 14. The event is held in Peratrovich Park on the corner of 4th Avenue & E Street.
