If you like boards than zAKs is the place to go.  They have snow boards, skate boards, kite boards and even surf boards…and all the gear to go with it.

New to downtown zAKs adds something different to an area dominated by gift shops and bars.  On 4th Avenue by G Street zAKs is across the street from The Anchor and next door to the Gaslight Lounge.

If you like doing things outdoors this is a place to get gear.  With coats, hats, gloves and all the accessories even if you don’t board you can find the right stuff at zAKs Boardroom.

I have never been a skate boarder or any good at snow boarding, but I might have to take it up.  This place is just fun!  This summer the shop will be renting skate boards and kite boards.  You may just find me skate boarding to my next meeting downtown.

WHAT IS ADP?

Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit entity charged with management of the Downtown Improvement District (DID). ADP provides clean and safe services throughout the DID, provides marketing and event promotion throughout the DID, and serves as an advocate for the business and property owners within the DID on issues affecting downtown.
